I was in need of a purchase to validate my parking ticket today, and instead of getting the boring basics (milk & bread) I opted for a magazine, well actually two. A friend of mine happened to pick up the Cosmo and flip it open to a page which featured a Jessie Hill dress…SOLD.

The Morrocan Team Dress is currently on sale for $200. There is only 1 size 8 in stock so if you’re a party girl this may be the party dress you’ve been looking for.

On Saturday night I was at the Miss Auckland pageant supporting Caren Freeman, MISS SOMETHING EPIC. Caren is definitely a ‘Something Epic’ kind of girl and we were very proud to be her sponsor. The night ended on a huge high, with Caren being crowned MISS AUCKLAND 09!
This was ‘Sashing Night’ where Caren received her MISS SOMETHING EPIC sash, she looked stunning in the Illionaire Entertainer Dress.

…and here are some photos from the night

This post is for the boys! Something-Epic will be launching menswear this Spring with the first delivery due in September. St Augustine Academy is fresh out of Surry Hills and will be the first addition to the menswear range.
Alvin Manalo and Adrian Amores are the team behind the dynamic label Saint Augustine Academy. As a regular fixture in Sydney’s art and music scene, Alvin’s collections are influenced by indie rock n roll and all its sub-cultures; from the sleekness of the mods to the hardness of the punks, from the darkness of the goths to the eccentricities of the New Romantics. Signature features of St Augustine Academy’s collections include a limited colour palette and directional tailoring.
St Augustine Academy has dressed numerous international and local rock bands for events and appearances including Nick Cave, MGMT, The Killers, Bloc Party, Operator Please, Interpol, Hot Hot Heat, The Rapture, The Horrors, The Bravery, and The Scare.

Take a look at some of the amazing pieces from Jessie Hill’s S/S 09-10 collection. The acid floral print, the origami detail, and the jersey comfort will have your summer style oozing hassle free sex appeal. Looks like the collection is going to be a huge hit, check out www.stylelines.blogspot.com for a write up on Jessie’s collection which is totally on point.

It is difficult to imagine that summer collections are around the corner, when your wrapped up in five or so layers trying to fend off a flu, but if you are starting to think about those essential summer pieces that your wardrobe needs it would be wise to pre-order any of the above by dropping me an email at info@something-epic.com.

According to this weeks Grazia (with Jen on the cover) digital prints are the the best way to make a statement. Included in the stunning spread was none other than the Illionaire Mind Meadows Dress.

I am by no means a maths whiz but the dress was advertised at $489AU and with the current (crappy) exchange rate the Something Epic price definitely comes out on top, so beat the disappointment and get in quick. I know many of you missed out on the Illioanire Intentions Dress, but a dress isn’t Epic if everyone who wants it can have it – then its just run of the mill. If you are tempted to try the Mind Meadows on drop me an email at info@something-epic.com
